In the movie Illang: The Wolf Brigade (2018), the protagonist wears a full-body armor and a gas mask. We hear him heavy breathing through the mask, like an animal on a hunt. The breathing is accentuated, because, paradoxically, it works as a method to make us imagine what it is like to be prey to someone who's out for blood (this does not entail the innocence of his prey). The mask also provides the character with an alibi: it's not him who commits atrocities, it's the man in the mask; duty incarnate.

After watching “Illang: The Wolf Brigade”, I realized that Han Hyo Joo and Jung Woo Sung have played together in "Cold Eyes” (2013). There they had been on opposite side as well with Woo Sung also being the 'bad guy' and they only really met at the end of the movie. And just like back then, I once again I find their brief interaction the most interesting? LOL
